2. Visiting this website
When you access this website, your browser transmits connection data required for technical delivery to the hosting infrastructure. This may include your IP address, date and time, the requested address, the volume of data transferred, referrer, browser, operating system and status code.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain stability and security, and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.
3. Hosting and data processing
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes personal data generated through the operation of the website on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
More information about data processing is available in the STRATO data protection terms.
4. Storage period
STRATO states that it retains website visitors' IP addresses for no longer than seven days to detect and defend against attacks. Host names or IP addresses are anonymised in the access logs made available to us. This website does not maintain a separate visitor or profile database.
5. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage or comparable technologies. No analytics, advertising or profiling services are used, and no external fonts, videos, maps or other embedded third-party content are loaded.
Because no cookies or comparable technologies requiring consent are used, no consent banner is displayed.
6. Contact
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing at your request is necessary for steps before entering into a contract to which you are to become a party. In other cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is communicating with interested parties and partners.
Contact data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled and, in the circumstances, no further handling is expected. If statutory retention duties apply, or further storage is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, the data is processed only for those purposes and deleted when the relevant period expires. Recipients may include the email and telecommunications providers used where necessary to transmit and handle the enquiry.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

8. Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority generally responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: datenschutz.hessen.de.
9. Provision of data
You do not need to actively provide us with data merely to visit the website. Technical connection data is required to retrieve the pages. Without the information provided in an email or telephone call, we may be unable to deal with the relevant enquiry.
10. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you in connection with this website.
